Copper Cable Wire Recycling Granulator Machine

The copper wire and cable recycling granulator is a mechanical device used for crushing and separating copper from plastic in waste cables. Through a combination of a crusher, an air classifier, and a linear vibrating screen, waste cables are processed into copper granules and PVC plastic granules for subsequent sorting and recycling.

The copper wire granulator mainly consists of a feeding and conveying system, a crusher, an air classifier, and a linear screen. After the waste cable enters the crusher, the blades shear and shred it, breaking the cable sheath and internal copper conductor into granules suitable for sorting.

The crushed mixture enters the air classifier, where copper and plastic are separated based on their differences in density, weight, and aerodynamic properties. Copper granules and PVC plastic granules are discharged through different discharge channels, and the linear screen further separates the materials, reducing the impact of mixed particles and fine impurities on the quality of the finished product.

For fine copper wire, the particle size directly affects the copper-plastic separation effect. If the particles are too large, the copper core may still be trapped inside the plastic; if the particles are too fine, copper powder loss and screening difficulty will increase. Therefore, properly adjusting the crushing size, airflow, and screen parameters is crucial for improving copper recovery rate and sorting purity.

When selecting a copper wire granulator, the type of cable, processing capacity, copper core diameter, and finished product requirements should be carefully considered. For mixed wire harnesses and multi-specification waste cables, the equipment needs stable crushing capacity and the ability to adjust the sorting to suit different materials.

After separation, copper particles and PVC plastic particles can be sent to the metal recycling and plastic reuse stages, respectively. For raw materials containing a large amount of fine copper wire or complex wire harnesses, screening or auxiliary sorting equipment can be added based on the actual sorting effect.
