This lithium-ion battery recycling production line, developed by SUNY GROUP, is specifically designed for the efficient separation of key materials from batteries. Through a complete process flow, it effectively separates black powder (containing active materials such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, and manganese), copper, aluminum, and other metals from the batteries, maximizing resource recycling.
The entire production line consists of several core systems. First, a crushing system pre-treats waste batteries of various sizes and types, ensuring the material is sized appropriately for subsequent sorting processes. Next, a pyrolysis carbonization system removes electrolyte and organic components through temperature control, reducing safety risks and improving material separation conditions. Following this is the battery casing separation system, which separates the outer casing from the internal materials, laying the foundation for refined recycling.

Plant for Recycling Lithium-Ion Battery
In the critical recycling stage, the black powder separation and collection system efficiently extracts active powder containing high-value metal elements. Meanwhile, the copper-aluminum sorting system utilizes physical separation technology to recover copper and aluminum separately from the current collector, thereby achieving resource utilization of multiple metals. In addition, the entire production line is equipped with an exhaust gas purification system to filter and purify the gases generated during the process, ensuring that the production process meets environmental protection requirements.
This production line is highly adaptable, capable of processing various types of lithium-ion batteries, including power batteries, energy storage batteries, and consumer batteries, meeting the recycling needs of waste from different sources. Meanwhile, its highly automated design not only improves processing efficiency but also effectively reduces the risks of manual operation, enhancing the overall safety and stability of operation.
Against the backdrop of a continuously increasing scale of retired batteries, lithium battery recycling is shifting from decentralized processing to industrialized, large-scale operation. Establishing an efficient and environmentally friendly recycling production system can not only reduce resource waste but also bring sustainable economic returns to enterprises. For companies planning to enter the new energy circular economy industry, mature integrated recycling technology will become a key foundation for future competition.
