Developed by SUNY Group, the fully automated photovoltaic module recycling line provides a highly controllable and efficient recycling solution for waste solar panels. The entire production line covers core processes such as dismantling, crushing, separation, and purification, capable of processing mainstream crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and accurately recycling materials such as aluminum frames, glass, copper, plastics, and silicon powder.

The production line begins with automated frame dismantling equipment. Mechanical clamps and cutting mechanisms quickly remove aluminum frames and junction boxes with precise positioning and stable cycle time, maintaining the integrity of the structure for subsequent steps. An automated conveying system enables continuous feeding, reducing manual intervention and allowing the entire production line to operate at higher efficiency.

In traditional photovoltaic modules, the glass and EVA structure are tightly bonded, making manual dismantling difficult and resulting in a high breakage rate. The fully automated photovoltaic recycling line uses heated peeling technology, softening the EVA layer through a closed heating system, allowing the glass to detach completely, improving not only the glass integrity rate but also significantly increasing the recycling purity.

Multi-stage crushing and material sorting: Maximizing the recovery of valuable materials

After glass separation, the remaining cell structure enters the crushing module. A low-speed crusher breaks down the mixture to a sortable particle size while preserving the integrity of the metal and silicon materials. Subsequently, a multi-stage automated sorting system sequentially takes over the process:

Magnetic separation system: removes ferrous materials;

Eddy current separator: efficiently recovers non-ferrous metals such as aluminum;

Air classifier and screening equipment: precisely separates silicon powder from lightweight plastics and films;

Density sorting module: further improves the purity of silicon powder and metals.

The entire sorting process operates continuously and automatically, not only increasing the recycling value of the final materials but also simplifying equipment maintenance and personnel operation.
